Produced in 2010 by the Ministry for Religious Affairs in Oman,  this video provides an excellent insight into Oman’s religious tolerance. Unique among Arab states, the official state religion is the Ibadism Islam sect, which is held by the majority of the population. A central tenet of this thread of Islam is acceptance and religious tolerance, and this underpins Oman’s welcoming spirit. With numerous guest workers from all over the world also in Oman, many other religions are represented alongside Islam.
